John Moore was born October 8, 1791 in Parsborough, King’s County, Nova Scotia. He married Elizabeth Foreman or Freeman, who was born July 6, 1800 at Amhurst, Cumberland County, Nova Scotia. They married in the Gore District on June 256, 1818.

Peter Haun was born in 1778, likely in Pennsylvania, Thirteen Colonies, the youngest son of Mathias Haun and his wife, Ann. Mathias Haun came to the Province in 1787 with his wife and ten children.

Peter James Plato, UE was born in 1756 in Albany, New York Province, Thirteen Colonies, the son of Christian Plato, UE and his wife, Dorotea May. During the American Revolution Peter James fought with Butler’s Rangers in the Ohio Valley and for this service, received 300 acres of land in the Conc 13 of Bertie Twp.

John Warren Jr. was the son of John Warren was born in 1777. He was the second son of John Warren, Sr. and his wife Susan. John Sr. was a career soldier with the 8th (The King’s) Regiment of Foot. In 1779 Warren Sr. left the army and was appoint commissary at Fort Erie. He became a prominent merchant and held many government posts.

Christopher Woolever was born May 6, 1789 in the Province of New Jersey, USA and emigrated to Canada. He was the son of Peter Wooliver and his wife, Susannah. He married Christianna Plato born 1801 around 1813. She was the daughter of Peter James Plato and his wife, Gertrude Catherine Bowen.

William Scarlett was born c. 1760 in Drumgoon, Cavan County, Ireland. He is first found in 1787 as a Private in the 58th Regiment of Foot in the Canada-British Regimental Registers of Service, 1756-1800. In these registers, it notes he was 25 years of age with a pale complexion, long face, hazel eyes, brown hair, being born in Drumgoon and his occupation was listed as a Weaver.
