Pvt. John Baker
104th Regt of Foot

John Baker’s father was named Jacob (Jakob) Baker and he was a Hessian soldier during the American Revolution. I found his commanding officer’s petition on behalf of his men at Montreal after the war.

John was born in 1766

John Baker died in January of 1871 at 105 years of age
